Easter Egg – free pattern

Are you looking for an easy, fast to make Ester decoration you can prepare yourself? Try those two-coloured Ester Eggs! You can choose what ever color you want – be creative and have fun, maybe add a sheep or a bunny. Make your Ester dinner table look special. :)

What you will need:

  • yarn in at least two different colors
  • hook US size D, UK size 11 or 3.0 mm (you can choose whatever size you like, bigger or smaller)
  • stuffing
  • yarn needle

I use symbols in american english:

  • rnd – round
  • sc – single crochet
  • dc – double crochet
  • invdec – invisible decrise

Pattern:

Start with first colour.

Rnd 1. 5sc in magic ring (5)

Rnd 2. 2sc1 (10)

Rnd 3. *2sc1, 1 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (15)

Rnd 4. *2sc1, 2 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (20)

Rnd 5. *2sc1, 3 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (25)

Rnd 6. *2sc1, 4 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (30)

Rnd 7. – 9. sc around (30)

Brake first colour yarn.

Rnd. 10.  *1sc, 1dc into round below, 1 dc into second round below, 1 dc into round below; 1 sc; ; repeat from * to the end go round (30)

Rnd. 10 Step 1.

Rnd. 10 Step 2.

You are going to put your hook where the red needle is.

Rnd. 10 Step 3.

Rnd. 10 Step 4.

This is how ready round 10 should look like.

Rnd 11. *2sc1, 5 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (35)

Rnd 12. *2sc1, 6 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (40)

Rnd 13. *invdec, 6 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (35)

Rnd 14. *invdec, 5 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (30)

Rnd 15. *invdec, 1 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (20)

Start stuffing.

Rnd 16. *invdec, 2 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (15)

Rnd 17. *invdec, 1 sc; repeat from * to the end go round (10)

Rnd. 18. *invdec; repeat from * to the end go round (5)

FO and leave tail. Sew hole together and shape. It will have about 2,5 inches. It’s ready :)

      Mimo wszystko polecam spróbować, ja też z początku nie lubiłam szydełka, ale potem wciągnęłam się na całego! :)
