Making of: Pink heart scarf

Remember how last time I was talking about reversible double knitting technique? Well, blue hearts scarf wasn’t the first thing I made, using this technique. Very first one had a cat on it, but we will talk about it next time! Today I would like to show you double-coloured hearts scarf.

This was a very easy pattern and working on it went pretty fast. One half of a heart is in strong pink and another one is in dark grey… they are different, but come together to create one heart, one love. <3

This is how this pattern looks in my notebook:

The only problem with this design is that it looks the same on both sides, so you can’t reverse it to change colors… Still, it is crazy warm, colours are vibrant and fringes look cute! It is made from wool and alpaca wool blend yarn, one of my favourites, because wool makes it warm but alpaca softens it.

If you like this scarf, you can buy it in my Porcupine Knits shop – now with free shipping! It’s time to get ready for winter… or maybe to start thinking about Christmas gifts?
