Making of: blue and brown dreamcatcher

This is my favourite dreamcatcher that I have ever made. I am just so in love with those colours! I think blue and brown look amazing together. What do you think?

First of all, I think the fabric with little blue flowers looks really nice, it has this gentle, kinda vintage feel to it. Also, glass beads has much nicer look than plastic ones and I definitely prefer using waxed cord than yarn or rope.

For the feathers I have used two colours of yarn – blue and brown. There are five feathers and making them took forever. It is a very slow job of cutting yarn into million pieces and then assembling them the right way. I’ve actually made some photos of how to do that, I will post them in another making of, so you can try to make your own. :)

This is the final product surrounded with some of my magic accessories. How do you like it? If you love just like me, you can buy it in Porcupine Knits shop!
